Invented in 1912 by Englishman Harry Brearley of Brown-Firth research laboratory in Sheffield, STAINLESS STEEL, an attractive, clean, durable & strong material, brought decades of convenience and utility to commercial & domestic kitchens worldwide.
The best-known grade is Type 304, also known as 18/8 and 18/10, for its composition of 18% chromium and 8%/10% nickel, respectively. This material is used in the new Newmatic model's built-in cooker hob models PM640STX & PM950STX.
