Updated: Sep 26, 2023

Invented in 1912 by Englishman Harry Brearley of Brown-Firth research laboratory in Sheffield, STAINLESS STEEL, an attractive, clean, durable & strong material, brought decades of convenience and utility to commercial & domestic kitchens worldwide.

The best-known grade is Type 304, also known as 18/8 and 18/10, for its composition of 18% chromium and 8%/10% nickel, respectively. This material is used in the new Newmatic model's built-in cooker hob models PM640STX & PM950STX.

Both new models are launched with high specifications that you have come to expect from Newmatic.

-A gas safety device

-Heavy-duty cast iron trivet

-Metallic knobs that are resistant to deformation due to heat
