- Newmatic hoods may be operated in ducted or recirculating modes. In the ducted mode, only the aluminum filter is fitted. In the recirculating mode, both the aluminum and charcoal filters are fitted.
- Aluminum filters are washable. This should be done by spraying a kitchen degreaser & scrubbing with a soft brush, then rinsing off.
- Charcoal filters are not washable & should be replaced every 6 months.
